Piercing is a type of damage commonly used by weapons with sharp ends that pierce into armor, effectively killing most shock troops.

Piercing Armor is a type of armor that protects from piercing damage, reducing damage. Most units with this armor are units that use Piercing Damage and Arrow Damage which apparently pierce piercing armor.
