Line of sight

Line of sight, or LOS, is the distance an object lights the fog of war.

This attribute's value changes from unit to unit and from building to building. For most ranged units, LOS is equivalent to the unit's range. Notable units with high range and low LOS are Artillery and Sub - Trident (and their counterparts). In scenarios the LOS value is often changed to suit the author's needs.
